Southlands High School, Chatsworth - Durban
Southlands High School has an enrolment of over 1400 learners. Approximately 800 learners currently study various combinations of courses including woodwork, screen-printing, art, jewellery making and pottery and ceramics.

Iqraa Trust has provided funding in the amount of R205 000 to enable the Community Outreach Centre, St. Mary’s (COC) to fund the operations of two Drop-In Centres in Klaarwater and Marianhill.

Donation Of Vehicle To Cancer Association Of South Africa
Patients of the Mkhuhla Interim of the Cancer Association of South Africa in KwaZulu-Natal received a most pleasant surprise when Iqraa Trust and Albaraka Bank jointly donated a minibus which was needed desperately by the Home to transport its cancer patients to the various treatment centres in the city.
Where Rainbows Meet – Training & Development Foundation – Cape Town
“Where Rainbows Meet” operates in Vrygrond, a squatter camp which was established in the early 1900’s in Cape Town, South Africa. A grant of R 50 000 from Iqraa Trust enabled “Where Rainbows Meet” to acquire computers for its training facility which is committed to improving the educational level of unemployed adults in the Community.
ARV Clinic Opening
Working with the S.A Medical foundation, Iqraa Trust has provided R250 000 in funding for the provision of a facility to house an Anti-retroviral Treatment clinic at the retreat community hospital in Cape Town.
Strelitzia Secondary School Computer Centre
Iqraa Trust has provided funding towards the establishment of a computer centre for Strelitzia secondary school that was officially opened by Mr. Mahmoud Youssef Baker, the Chairman of Iqraa Trust, on Thursday, 26 November 2009.
