Education Project:
VUKANI BAFAZI (WOMEN AWAKE)
R 64 000 to fund the training of Adult Basic Education Teachers

Vukani Bafazi was established in 2001 in Durban, Kwazulu Natal, to assist women from disadvantaged communities through education and empowerment.

Iqraa Trust has supported Vukani Bafazi’s Adult Basic Education Program which is aimed at training and equipping adult education teachers who in turn are providing much needed training for mainly illiterate adult women in the rural areas of Kwazulu Natal.Iqraa Trust has provided R 64 000 to Vukani Bafazi to fund the training of 58 teachers thereby having significant, positive and long-lasting impact on the lives of people over a very wide area.
