DELTA CRICKET CLUB
R 50 000 for construction of a building
for a cricket-training academy
Delta Cricket Club is in existence for 24 years. As part of its
social development and community upliftment activities the club operates
feeding schemes. bursary schemes and medical assistance for the disadvantaged
communities.
Iqraa Trust has provided funding of R 50 000 to enable the club
to complete the construction of a centre to house an indoor cricket
academy .The academy adds a further dimension to the club’s
community upliftment activities as the academy will be used to promote
sport at grass roots level in the disadvantaged communities.
