Featured Project : HOSPICE ASSOCIATION OF WITWATERSRAND (SOWETO HOSPICE)
DIEPKLOOF - SOWETO - R 200 000 (IQRAA TRUST CONTRIBUTION)

Iqraa Trust has provided funding of R 200 000 in September 2009 to The Hospice association of Witwatersrand for the Paediatric Care unit of the Soweto Hospice, near Johannesburg.

This unit provides care for the HIV/AIDS affected children and their families and guardians. The aim is to promote quality of life, maintain dignity and alleviate suffering. In this 10 bed unit the young patients are stabilized and a programme of ARV implemented.
