MEDICAL ASSOCIATION AND IQRAA TRUST COMMUNITY RENAL DIALYSIS CENTRE

The IMA/Iqraa Trust Community Renal Dialysis Centre was launched on Monday, 12
November 2007 and is set to provide much needed relief for renal dialysis
patients who cannot access treatment from state facilities and also cannot
afford private treatment.

OF UNIQUE EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN IN
PARTNERSHIP WITH eTHEKWINI MUNICIPALITY

Iqraa Trust is providing R 1,2 million over three years to finance the
Educational Support Program in partnership with eThekwini municipality.

TRUST STUDENT LOAN AND BURSARY SCHEMES
In order to promote access to higher education Iqraa Trust introduced "The
Iqraa Trust Student Loan and Bursary Schemes" in 1999.
The Iqraa Trust Student Loan Scheme has proved to be highly successful. To date
1164 students who would otherwise have been unable to afford it, have been
given the opportunity to study at tertiary level at Universities and Colleges.
Assistance is provided to students by way of interest-free loans. The total
value of loans provided to students under the Scheme is in excess of R 11
million.
The Iqraa Trust Student Assistance Programme is considered to be a vital part of
the Trust's operations and is being continually improved and enhanced to make
it more effective.

Khayelitsha, Cape Town - R 350 000
The project involves the establishment of a pre-primary school at Edendale
Primary School in the suburb of Mannenburg on the Cape Flats in Cape Town.Iqraa
Trust is partnering with the Mustadafin Foundation in the establishment of the
preschool.
