Iqraa Trust is funding the construction of a shelter in Illovo on the South Coast of Kwazulu Natal for the rehabilitation of streetchildren in cooperation with I-Care.

There are an estimated 250 000 street children in South Africa. I-Care is an organisation that is dedicated to developing innovative and sustainable solutions aimed at addressing the growing problem of streetchildren in South Africa. Part of
I Care’s approach is to provide shelter for street children where they can be educated and rehabilitated and eventually reintegrated into society.
