The Tshwane place of Safety operates 5 specialized care nurseries (high care units) as well as a Haven and Intensive Care Unit for children with severe special needs. The Tshwane Place of Safety provides special homes where an abundance of emotional, physical and spiritual care is given to babies and toddlers.

Ekhaya Lethemba is the only facility in Pietermaritzburg area that provides 24 hour emergency care for vulnerable children. It is also utilized by the SA Police Service and Department of Social Development for afterhours crisis care.

Careline Crisis and Trauma Centre is located in Hillcrest, Durban. The organization assist the survivors of crime, domestic violence and drug abuse. Careline offers both outpatient and after care programmes for clients, this includes individual counselling, group therapy, and random drug testing and there is no fee attached to these services.
