Sponsored Scholarship in the USA
During the visit of the US Consulate General, Mrs Sherry Sykes, to Iqraa Trust in January 2018, she talked about the excellent scholarship and exchange programmes offered by the US government through the embassies and Consulates General in South Africa to South African students.
Mrs Sykes visit was followed through by the visit of Mr Felix Jabu Salazar, the Public Relations Officer and Ms Susan Knowles, Education Specialist (Fulbright South Africa) both representatives from the Consulate General of the United States of America to Iqraa Trusts offices; who provided more details about the exchange programs and scholarships of which some were also available to South African teachers.
